Counseling Center

Hello, my name is Jon Wenning. I am a senior Business student, majoring in supply chain and sales and service marketing. I am originally from Coldwater, Ohio, and at BGSU I am currently a member of the Men's Cross Country team, a student ambassador for the College of Business, and a Presidential Scholar within the Honors College.

For my Falcon Funded Project, I have chosen the Counseling Center at BGSU. I have chosen this fund because I have recognized how stress and anxiety can impact a student's lifestyle in a multitude of negative ways. Unfortunately, most students are unaware that they have a resource such as the Counseling Center at their disposal. My goal for this funding project is to increase the marketing campaign for the Counseling Center, so they can reach out to more students and provide them with necessary information about what resources the Counseling Center provides. If students begin to take advantage of the resources at the Counseling Center, I believe students will be happier, more productive and overall enjoy their college experience so much more.
