Career Center

Hello! My name's Alex Mechler. I'm majoring in tourism, leisure, and event planning. Throughout my time here at BGSU I've been involved in several student organizations including Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity serving as their current Vice President, To Write Love On Her Arms serving as their current Secretary, and Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority as an honorary member.

Throughout my time at BGSU I've experienced firsthand the value of professional development. There is so much to be learned beyond a classroom's four walls. Therefore, I've decided to partner with the Career Center for my Falcon Funded project. The BGSU Career Center assists students and alumni with a variety of career preparation areas. They are truly a resource for all of us Falcons! 

The Career Center's services include career exploration, resume development and critiques, cover letter development and critiques, interview preparation, mock interviews, job and internship search strategies, graduate school preparation, statement of purpose assistance and more! In honor of homecoming I hope you will make a gift to support a resource for everyone in the Falcon Family.
