The Independent Falcon Network (IFN) is a network for independent students, connecting them with individuals and resources that support and encourage academic success, self-reliance and community. IFN offers a mentoring program that supports BGSU students who identify as an emancipated minor, former foster youth and any other independent student. Students connect with a staff mentor who meet with them periodically to discuss a variety of topics including academics, finances and personal challenges. Mentors help guide students to the right resources and campus partners who can best assist them. In addition to mentoring opportunities, students may be able to receive emergency funds to help pay for tuition, housing and food assistance.
We hope that you will support IFN by making a donation towards these emergency funds today.
