Support the Independent Falcon Network

The Independent Falcon Network (IFN) is a network for independent students, connecting them with individuals and resources that support and encourage academic success, self-reliance and community. IFN offers a mentoring program that supports BGSU students who identify as an emancipated minor, former foster youth and any other independent student.  Students connect with a staff mentor who meet with them periodically to discuss a variety of topics including academics, finances and personal challenges. Mentors help guide students to the right resources and campus partners who can best assist them. ​In addition to mentoring opportunities, students may be able to receive emergency funds to help pay for tuition, housing and food assistance.
