Support BGSU Women's Chorus Upcoming Tour
Welcome to the BGSU Women's Chorus tour fundraising page! The Women's Chorus is excited to embark on their Spring tour entitled "Tour the 'Villes". We will be traveling to Louisville, Kentucky, Nashville, Tennessee, and Huntsville, Alabama to perform concerts, collaborate with collegiate women's ensembles and workshop with high school choirs. The tour will take place during the last week of March.
The BGSU Women's Chorus (WoCho for short) was founded in 1918. Under the direction of Dr. Emily Pence Brown, the choir consists of 60 undergraduate Sopranos and Altos. The Women's Chorus is a diverse and inclusive group of treble singers, both music and non-music majors, who come together to make and share music as sisters in song.
This tour will include:
- Wednesday 3/27 - Louisville, Kentucky
- 7pm Concert at St. Matthews United Methodist Church
- Thursday 3/28 – Louisville, Kentucky
- Choir exchange with Ballard High School Choirs
- Thursday 3/28 - Nashville, Tennessee
- Combined rehearsal with Belmont University Women’s Choir
- Friday 3/29 - Huntsville, Alabama
- 7pm Concert at First Presbyterian Church
