Support BGSU Cheerleading's Trip to Nationals
The mission of the Bowling Green State University Cheerleading Team is to serve as public relations ambassadors of BGSU's Athletic Department. We strive to uphold, reflect and project the goals and ideals of the University, to inspire fans through spirit, leadership and character and to strive to be the best individuals, team and Falcons as possible.
We have been attending Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) College Nationals since 2010 and have competed in both the small co-ed and all-girl divisions. As a program, we have been honored to represent Bowling Green State University at such a prestigious event. Throughout the years, BGSU Cheerleading has seen great success at this event, having placed among the top-five in the small co-ed division since 2010. BGSU placed 2nd in 2013 and placed 1st in the International Cheer Union(ICU) World University Cheerleading Championship the same year. In 2018, we placed 5th as well as placing 2nd in the ICU World University Cheerleading Championship. This past season, our all-girl game day team placed 4th and small co- ed placed 2nd and also placed 1st in the ICU World University Cheerleading Championship. In 2014, we won our first National Championship and we hope to repeat that success this year at the 2020 UCA College National Championship!
Traveling to Disney World and representing BGSU is an honor and a unifying experience for our team. For the first time we will be competing in the small co-ed, all-girl game day, and large-coed game day division and we couldn't be more excited. This amazing opportunity leaves us with lifelong memories and experiences that only we as a team can forever share. This would not be possible without your generous donations. Your gift helps the team to experience and create memories that will last a lifetime. Your contribution will help us offset the costs of transportation, plane tickets, housing, meals and registration fees. We could not be more grateful for this opportunity as we are working hard in the gym and in the classroom this fall. We are extremely appreciative for all the support we have received and for the opportunity to represent Bowling Green State University.

You can help provide an athlete's plane ticket to and from Orlando, Florida. With a contribution at this level, you will receive recognition as a sponsor of BGSU Cheerleading Team, as well as a picture of the program and a handwritten thank you note from a member of the BGSU Cheerleading Nationals Team.

You can help cover an athlete's registration fee and hotel room at the Disney resorts. With a contribution at this level, you will receive recognition at our Friends and Family Nationals Showcase. You will also be featured as a sponsor of the BGSU Cheerleading Team, as well as receive a picture of the program and a handwritten thank you note from a member of the BGSU Cheerleading Nationals Team.

With a contribution at this level, you will receive a special experience from our favorite birds and BGSU mascots, Freddie and Frieda! You will also be featured as a sponsor of the BGSU Cheerleading Team, as well as receive a picture of the program and a handwritten thank you note from an member of the BGSU Cheerleading Nationals Team. In addition, you will also receive reserved seating at our Friends and Family Nationals Showcase, a special meet and greet with the team, and a special spotlight on our social media accounts!
