The BGSU Wellness Peer Educators contribute to the safety and well-being of campus by presenting to classes, organizations, Greek Life, departments, athletic teams and other groups about nutrition, alcohol and other drugs, bystander intervention and sexual health. They encourage students to be engaged bystanders and better navigate the collegiate experience. The Wellness Peer Educators are a part of the BACCHUS Initiatives of NASPA. This program supports student leadership and peer education on health and safety issues – no matter peer education group name, specialized health interest, or social affiliation.
The BGSU Wellness Peer Educators are excited to be attending the Health, Safety, and Well-Being Initiatives of NASPA Conference in Baltimore, Maryland this November! We have been fortunate enough to receive funding from campus for conference registrations for four participants, an adviser and to cover the majority of our hotel costs, however, we still need to fund the remainder of our hotel costs and the cost of flights and other transportation necessary to attend the conference. Please consider making a contribution to our trip!
Although most meals are covered by the conference fee, there are several meals during the conference that are not included.
Help cover the cost of transportation between the airport and our hotel.
We will be flying to the conference and a gift at this level will help provide a flight for one student.
A gift at this level will help cover the remainder of the cost needed to fully fund our hotel stay.
