Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity’s Epsilon Phi Chapter was the first and only Black Greek Letter Organization (BGLO) at BGSU to acquire on-campus University sponsored Greek housing (1979 - 1986). This year, as the University completes construction of its Greek Village Project, opening fall 2016, the opportunity is present for Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity to again reside on campus in one of the new, four-bedroom chapter houses. Your immediate contribution will help with the Chapter's Annual Parlor Fee ($900) due to the University annually in June.
The Epsilon Phi Chapter was chartered in April of 1973 at BGSU and has initiated more than 250 young men who have truly exemplified the high ideals of Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service. Our last five Intake Lines, dating back to 2008, have demonstrated a 95 percent graduation rate. Having recently completed our Spring Intake, we welcomed seven new brothers to the Chapter and thus increased opportunities to promote our fraternity.
Now, 43 years later we are an active BGLO involved in every aspect of campus life: NPHC Stepshow, Project Sleep (Homeless Initiative), Greeks vs. Everybody Basketball Game for Cancer, Weekly Study Tables, Mentoring at Glenwood Elementary School (Toledo, OH), Miss PBS Pageant, and Sigma Week.
The MESSAGE is the same (Culture for Service and Service for Humanity) the MESSENGERS are working hard to keep the “Elite” in Epsilon Phi. Thank You in advance for your support of the CAUSE; It will be greatly appreciated.
