College of Health and Human Services General Support Fund - This fund supports the greatest needs of the College of Health and Human Services. From enhancing student learning, to recruitment, programming research, professional development and more, every student and faculty member in the College of Health and Human Services is impacted by this fund.
HHS Leadership Council Gap Scholarship Fund - This scholarship, originally funded by the College of Health and Human Services’ Leadership Council, provides annual gap scholarships, typically between $500 and $1,000, to students in need. When facing a financial hardship, this extra gap funding can often be the deciding factor that allows students the opportunity to complete their degree.
HHS Building Fund - This fund supports capital projects, equipment purchases and technology upgrades to provide a top-quality educational and service experience for our students, faculty, staff and community members.
Criminal Justice Program - This fund provides general support to students, faculty and staff in our nationally ranked criminal justice program. With the recent addition of the forensic investigations specialization, your support will provide students with high-quality, realistic simulations and applied research opportunities in investigations and related criminal justice activities.
Dietetics, Food and Nutrition Science Programs – Used to enhance student learning, recruitment, programming, faculty research and professional development, this fund addresses the greatest needs for the dietetics program.
Dr. Linda Petrosino Pillars Fund - Originally started by former College of Health and Human Services Dean Dr. Linda Petrosino, this fund provides students with financial support for research opportunities, clinical placements, field experiences and internships, master's thesis and dissertation research and/or emergency funding.
Nursing Foundation Scholarship - To better meet the demand for nurses nationwide and the academic aspirations of our students, this fund provides general support to students with the most need in the nursing program.
Speech and Hearing Clinic Fund - The Speech and Hearing Clinic offers state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic speech, language and hearing services, and is open to the public and serves all ages. The clinic provides an important community service as well as serving as a training facility for master's and doctoral-level speech-language pathologists. This fund provides for the greatest needs of the Speech and Hearing Clinic.
The Center for Optimal Aging - BGSU’s Optimal Aging Institute was created in 2016 to help middle-aged and older adults, and those who work with them, explore the seven dimensions of health, wellness and resiliency. This fund supports programming, outreach and other greatest needs of the Optimal Aging Institute.
