Emergency Relief for our Falcon Family

Be a part of the BGSU community’s response to COVID-19

BGSU has implemented unprecedented measures in recent days in response to the public health challenge posed by COVID-19. At this time, more than ever, our focus is on our students. COVID-19 has already significantly disrupted the lives of our students on and off campus– creating unexpected housing and food expenses; restricting travel; limiting students’ income from hourly jobs or work-study positions; and creating other unforeseen challenges.

The impact of your gift

The Student Emergency Fund can help provide resources for students facing difficult situations. The fund is entirely supported by charitable donations like yours, and any amount helps meet a student’s time-sensitive need.

The Firelands Emergency Aid for Students fund assists BGSU Firelands students who face sudden, urgent financial needs.

With your support, BGSU can act quickly to fulfill even more student requests, which are already at an all-time high. Your support will help meet BGSU students’ need during this crisis and help them stay on track to graduate.

Send positivity to our students

BGSU has asked our alumni around the globe to share notes of encouragement on social media with the hashtag #FalconFamily. As BGSU students transition to remote learning, they are beginning coursework in a new environment safely distanced away from their classmates and friends, away from their professors and away from the campus they call home. Because of these challenging times, our students need us now more than ever.

Thank you to all our alumni and friends who have already posted uplifting messaging in support of our students during these challenging times. These messages demonstrate how the Falcon Family will always come together for those in need, and how no matter where our students are, they will always be home.
