Women's Club Volleyball

Women's Club Volleyball first season started October 1993, with Coach Ron Kalal leading the team. Volleyball was considered a strong choice for female athletes at BGSU to want to participate in and the program grows every year. It give students an opportunity to join a volleyball team and compete at a competitive level while making lifelong friends and also being able to focus on school. 

In our 2021 fall season, we will be traveling to four Universities to compete and be ranked against other club teams all over the country to compete Spring 2022 at Nationals in Phoenix, Arizona. Our club is no longer ran by a coach but two Co-Presidents, Aurora Nero & Jill Borthwick who are also players on the team. 

With the funds we are raising, we plan to put the money towards more volleyballs, antennas for our nets, and travel/hotel costs. We hope to be flying to Phoenix for the four day National Tournament to have the opportunity to show other Universities how BGSU's program has excelled over the years. It is a great opportunity to meet and play against amazing teams that love the sport just as much as our program does.
