Hello! My name is Sharareh Feizkhah and I am running for 2017 BGSU Homecoming Queen. Some of my campus involvement includes being the Steering Catering Chair for Dance Marathon, the Volunteer Chair for Hillel, a third year Resident Advisor, and a Campus Tour Guide.
I chose Dance Marathon at BGSU as my Falcon Funded project because I have been involved all four years that I have been here at BGSU and it has inspired me so much. We are the biggest student organization on campus and we raise money all year for the Children's Miracle Network. Since this organization is so big, we host our 24 hour event, ZiggyThon, in the spring inside the Perry Field House, and additionally we take 150 bikers with Bikes for Tikes to Cincinnati for a 180 mile bike ride back to Bowling Green.
The money I am raising is going to help Dance Marathon pay for a big enough space to host this event, safe transportation for all of our bikers, along with smaller things needed to run the event properly, like headsets, entertainment, and t-shirts. This money will allow us to be able to focus on the big fundraising goals we have for this year and help make Dance Marathon more successful than ever!
In honor of Homecoming, I hope you will consider making a gift to Dance Marathon at BGSU, thank you!
