Support SVO's Full Court Flag Campaign

The Student Veterans Organization (SVO) at BGSU is asking for your support to raise $10,000 to purchase a 50’ x 90’ Full Court American flag. The flag will be used at BGSU sporting events to honor the military community. The purchase of the court size flag will stand as recognition for those who have a dedication to duty and a selfless commitment to something greater than themselves.

The Student Veterans Organization at BGSU has been a recognized student organization since 2011 and affiliated with Student Veterans of America since 2013. As the sole owner of the flag, the SVO will be responsible for the flag while in use and for its maintenance. The Student Veteran Organization will work with other student organizations to provide help to display the flag at BGSU sporting events.

We would like to salute each individual who has taken the time to share in support of this endeavor. The SVO would also like to express our gratitude with BGSU Department of Athletics for extending communication to the wider BGSU sports community. The Nontraditional and Military Student Services office has been instrumental in providing guidance in starting this campaign and we know with their help, we can make our funding goal.
