Center for Leadership
My name is Hannah Cubberley and I am a Senior from Chagrin Falls, Ohio studying political science, Spanish, and communications. I am involved with Bowling Green Alternative Breaks (bGAB) through the Center for Community and Civic Engagement and I am a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, an ambassador for the Honors College, President of Undergraduate Student Government and I also work for the Center for Leadership as a senior student leadership assistant.
As a member of the 2018 Homecoming Court, I have chosen the Center for Leadership as my Falcon Funded Project. The Center for Leadership is an office that offers a wide range of programs and certificates that emphasize personal values and ethical leadership practices in order to help students learn invaluable leadership skills. The student leadership assistants are an integral part of the Center for Leadership because they are peer educators who foster educational and leadership growth, creativity and confidence in participants. The Center for Leadership is a free and accessible office that is constantly growing and developing new programs in order to best serve the needs of students at BGSU.
By inspiring and helping develop leadership qualities in others, the student leadership assistants and the Center for Leadership create a positive and profound impact on the BGSU community. I encourage Falcon friends and family as well as the greater BGSU community to give back to the office that empowers and educates student leaders at BGSU this Homecoming.
