The School of Human Movement, Sport and Leisure Studies has graduate programs in Kinesiology, Sport Administration and Leisure and Tourism. Our students go into careers such as strength and conditioning, sport marketing, fitness, sport medicine and sport administration. Some graduates will continue their education in doctoral programs in exercise physiology, sport psychology, biomechanics and sport administration.
HMSLS graduate students will spend one week at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center and experience an immersion into the life of Olympic and Paralympic athletes. They will learn about all aspects of Olympic/Para-Olympic athlete development (physical and psychological) and administration of Olympic teams and governing bodies. Olympic Training Center staff will conduct educational sessions on topics such as sport psychology, strength and conditioning, administration and development, anti-doping efforts, diversity and inclusion, sport medicine and nutrition. The cost for each student to attend the Olympic Training Center trip is $1,200. Your support will help defray costs for students who otherwise would not be able to attend.
