Thank you to all of our generous donors who have helped us reach our goal of raising $6,000! There is still time remaining in our campaign and we would like to raise an additional $1,000 to offset the costs of our trip even further.
The Student Veteran's of America is a nationwide organization with an official chapter on BGSU's campus. Every year they host the largest gathering of student veterans in the country at the SVA National Convention. The convention provides them with valuable lessons that include resume writing, interview skills, tools to teach best practices in successfully transitioning from military to student, organization building, building community partnerships and much more.
We would like to send six individuals to this year's convention in Los Angeles, CA and we need your help! We estimate the cost of flight, hotel, registration and meals for the four day trip to cost $1,000 per student. The information and experience they return with will be worth so much more.
We would like to encourage you to make a donation to our trip to the SVA National Convention to help offset the costs of each student paying out of pocket to attend.
One $25 donation helps pay for a student's meals not provided by the hotel or convention center.
One $150 donation helps cover the cost of one student's hotel stay for one night.
One $1,000 donation helps covers the cost of one student's travel, lodging and meals for the entire trip.
One $6,000 donation helps covers the cost for all student's to travel to the SVA National Convention without paying any money out of their own pockets!
