Campus Campaign

Bowling Green State University is well-known for being a student-centered campus. Perhaps one of the most evident examples of BGSU’s student-centered mission is the great success of its Campus Campaign, also known as Family Campaign. Since its inception more than two decades ago, Campus Campaign has raised more than $13 million for BGSU. That’s $13 million that has a direct and immediate impact on current and future generations of BGSU Falcons.

About Campus Campaign

Campus Campaign is BGSU’s annual faculty/staff giving campaign. Over the course of its existence, Campus Campaign has raised more than $13 million thanks to the generosity of faculty and staff like you who believe in our students. Last year, 45 percent of all faculty and staff participated in Campus Campaign by making a gift to support BGSU and its mission. It’s our goal this year to achieve 50 percent participation. While we are well on our way, we need YOUR help. Not only does participating in Campus Campaign mean increased private support for our students, but it also shows our collective support for the University’s mission and our belief in our students. Working in Higher Education really is about being part of something bigger than ourselves – it’s about preparing students to become the leaders of tomorrow. Our support today will foster the teachers, scientists, pilots, artists and professionals of tomorrow.

Does it Matter How Much I Give?

Gifts of any size make a real difference in the lives of BGSU students. In fiscal year 2015, gifts of $50 and less from faculty, staff and retirees totaled more than $75,000 in support. Gifts to any fund - arts, athletics, the college for which you work, WBGU, or other BGSU funds -  all count toward Campus Campaign. Gifts can be made in a variety of ways, most conveniently through the giving buttons on the right hand column of this page. Gifts made through this page support the area of greatest need, The Excellence Fund for BGSU. If you would like to support a different fund, or make a gift in another way, the following ways are available: 

• Online at: bgsu.edu/give

• Via one-time gift or payroll deduct form. Please return to gift processing at 132 Administration Building by May 20 to be counted in this fiscal year. 

• See your Campus Campaign department representative for a form and envelope. 

If you make your gift through one of the three above methods, your name will be added to the list of donors within the week.
