Help the Rifle Club get to Nationals!

The mission of the BGSU Rifle Club is to allow students with an interest in any rifle-related shooting sport the opportunity to learn gun safety, form a competitive team, encourage sportsmanship, hone marksmanship skills, set goals, and compete at national and international levels. The club is dedicated to safety and education and is filled with individuals passionate about learning and competing in the sports.

The BGSU Rifle Club was founded in 2020 and had a total of 2 members... now there are over 17 active club members! Some of our members have been shooting for years and others have never shot a gun before but would like to learn how. All of them are dedicated to our mission, and excited to compete in this year's match season. However, as a new club we are still struggling to find our place in the university and get to our feet financially. Thanks to the Oak Harbor Conservation Club (OHCC) we have a facility to practice in and rifles to borrow free of charge, but we are still missing a lot of necessary equipment and competition funds. Even though the club has worked hard to earn money, we still barely have enough to buy ammunition for practice. With your support, we can not only buy ammunition, but also purchase equipment that will elevate the scores of our competitors and pay for our entry into the 2022 National and Club Championship Matches! 

By donating to the BGSU Rifle Club, you are not only allowing us to compete in important matches and paying for equipment, you are making an impact in the lives of each and every club member. One of our members shoots left-handed using an old shooting jacket not designed for her. Your donation will allow us to buy a special jacket that is made for left-handed shooters! This will make her more comfortable and help her to grow as a competitive shooter.  Another of our club members joined to learn gun safety, and now he wants to go to the 2022 National Matches and compete as part of a team. Your donation can pay for his entry into the Nationals this year and allow him to experience the world of shooting sports for the first time ever! Every club member has their own goal or dream. Your donation will help us to hit those goals and make those dreams a reality.
