BGSU Dance Team Nationals Fund

The BGSU Cheer and Dance Team are a part of the school traditions and spirit on campus involving athletics, campus and community events. The entire Spirit Program travels to UCA/UDA College Nationals in January.

The Cheerleading and Dance Team attend College Cheerleading and Dance Team Nationals in Orlando, Fl. at Disney - ESPN Wide World of Sports. The members attend UCA/UDA College Cheer and Dance Team Camp over the summer to receive a bid to compete. This is our 18th consecutive year competition at College Cheer and Dance Team Nationals. The competition gives our University and programs national recognition and attention. The event is televised on ESPN in February.

The athletes fundraise $1,000 per person. We have 75 cheer and dance team members in the program. Our fundraising goal is $75,000.  Our goal is based on the amount per athlete to travel and attend College Cheer and Dance Team Nationals.
