Philanthropy 5K: Aspiring Student Affairs Professionals
The BGSU Aspiring Student Affairs Professionals (ASAP) student organization is fund-raising in order to be able to send a delegation of student leader representatives to both the 2016 NASPA Student Affairs Leaders of Tomorrow (SALT) Pre-Conference (November 14, 2016) and the IV-West/IV-East Regional Conference (November 15-17, 2016) in St. Louis, Missouri via the 2016 Freddie & Frieda 5K Philanthropy Run/Walk.
Why Your Support Matters
Both the Pre-Conference and the Regional Conference serve as ideal opportunities for ASAP members to engage with other undergraduate students and student affairs practitioners in order to gain more knowledge about the field of higher education. Furthermore, the conferences will allow members to enhance their professional development and extend their personal networks, which would be a direct fulfillment of the Aspiring Student Affairs Professionals' mission.
What impact will your donation have?
Donations to ASAP's Falcon Funded project will provide registration fees for a seven-member delegation for the pre-conference and regional conference. Your support could also provide financial assistance for transportation, fuel costs and lodging for BGSU ASAP students.

Choose a giving level
$10
Walker
For $10 you can contribute to the cost of one ASAP member's conference registration. To recognize your philanthropy, you will receive a personal thank you email from the Aspiring Student Affairs Professionals Executive Board.
$20
Jogger
For $20 you can cover one ASAP member's gas fee for travel to the conference. To recognize your philanthropy, you will receive a personal social media "shout out" on all of ASAP's social media accounts.
$50
Sprinter
For $50 you can contribute to the cost of one ASAP member's hotel room cost for the conference. To recognize your philanthropy, you will receive a hand-written letter from an ASAP member.
$100
Marathoner
For $100 you can provide the cost of one ASAP member's van rental fee for transportation to the conference. To recognize your philanthropy, you will receive a picture of all the 2016-2017 ASAP members.
$500
Triathlete
For $500 you can provide an ASAP member's conference trip fees. To recognize your philanthropy, you will receive a picture of the 2016-2017 ASAP membership and a "shout-out" on ASAP's social media pages.
$1,000
Olympian
For $1000 you can provide two ASAP members' trip fees to the conference. To recognize your philanthropy, you will receive a hand-written letter of thanks from the ASAP Executive Board and a picture of the 2016-2017 ASAP members.
