The Excellence Fund: Changing Lives at BGSU

The Excellence Fund at BGSU supports the area of greatest need on campus and directly impacts each of our 19,000-plus students on a daily basis in the following ways:

• Student Scholarship -- Provides support that allows the University to raise additional fund for scholarships, building renovations, academic programs and athletics.
• Faculty -- Brings new perspective and experience into the classroom.
• Student Life -- Supports a wide range of activities that build our campus community outside the classroom.
• Campus -- Maintain a campus known as a welcoming and friendly place, and supports innovative learning spaces and curriculum.

FALCONS LEARN:

$10,606 - IN-STATE TUITION

$1,050 - BOOKS & SUPPLIES

FALCONS LIVE:

$8,690 Room and board living on campus one year

FALCONS FOREVER:

1,659 scholarships, totaling $2.7 million, were awarded to 1,297 students in 2015-2016.

Tuition covers 70 percent of the University’s budget. BGSU donors help make up the rest. Students need YOU.
