Voices at BGSU
Hello, my name is Chris Carter and I am a senior at Bowling Green State University. I am majoring in Integrated Language Arts Education with a minor in Music. On campus, I am a McNair Scholars Undergraduate Research Program Scholar, part of the Sidney A. Ribeau President's Leadership Academy, and Voices at BGSU Concert Choir Founder.
For my Falcon Funded project I have chosen to raise money for Voices at BGSU. This is an organization that is dedicated to the preservation and performance of Negro Spirituals. It is a student-led choral ensemble that works to bring awareness to this music, not only on the campus of BGSU and the local community but beyond as well.
