What is Bowling Green State University Club Tennis doing?
Bowling Green State University Club Tennis is traveling to Madison, Wisconsin for the Midwest Club Tennis Championship. This trip allows eight to ten BGSU students to meet with 36 other team and create friendships with people throughout the Midwest while playing the sport they love. This four-day trip is an engaging opportunity for students as part of the unique BG learning experience.
About Club Tennis
BG's Club Tennis travels throughout Ohio and surrounding states to compete in tennis matches. The team plays in multiple tournaments a year and the Midwest Club Tennis Championship is our biggest. Our 2017-2018 team includes 19 players. Our team ranges from freshman to graduate students. We practice outdoors at the O'Keefe courts and indoors at the Shadow Valley Tennis Center in Maumee.
What it means to be apart of Club Tennis
Being part of club tennis means you have friends that you would have never meet without tennis. It also means you will meet people that push you to be active and even someone that can help you with your education.
